Franny, my Franny, my first friend ever in the whole world we were four months apart and we were inseparable as children. We had so much fun. I remember walking up and down the street in front of the meat market trying to capture Patsy and Petey Eye you did good. You had seven wonderful children. Dear Grandma,
This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to write. I am gonna miss you so much, and my sisters will miss you so much. I just want to thank you for all the advice you've given me on life. Your advice has led me through truly tough decisions in my life. I cherished every moment we spent together on every holiday throughout my life. My sisters will miss talking to you about dolls, life, shopping, your interests, and theirs. I will miss talking to you about the things that would make you laugh. Even though I knew you were struggling inside, I just wanted you to still see the joy in life. I know you are in a better place now and hopefully much happier with all the dolls you've ever wanted. I will never forget all the Halloweens we went over and how excited you got when you saw us all dressed up as dolls like you said. I just hope you know you were incredibly strong throughout life, but in your young life, a hard-working woman who knew what she wanted, who had goals and tried her best to succeed at them, and I hope you had the chance to achieve them.
We will all truly miss you, Grandma. We will miss coming over almost every day in the summer to see the cats with you on the balcony, talking to grandpa. It will never be the same without you, hearing you and my mom talk every day on the phone will be a sound I will miss too. I would be your granddaughter in every lifetime and in every universe, if I could grandma. You were a truly beautiful woman until the end, and even in the end, you were graceful like you always are. We also named one of our cats that we got from one of the cats in the backyard after you, but you already knew that! Her name is Franny. Your memories with us will forever be with us in our hearts. I also just want to say thank you for bringing our mother into this world, she is the strong and independent woman she is today because of your wisdom. You always did you, and I will forever cherish that courage of not caring about what people said, even if it was your own family. You got through many hardships in life and even had to bear the weight of the death of a son...I just hope you are at peace now.
One last thing I want to say to you grandma, is from my sisters, they want to let you know that you were the best grandma ever. They will miss sitting up on the balcony and talking with you about what new dolls they got. They want to say thank you for all the sweaters you gave them that had really cute holiday patterns on them; they will cherish them forever. Their lives will never be the same without you either, you were here for us our whole lives. We love you grandma! I thought of a song as I was writing this to you, "If I Can Dream" by Elvis Presley. I remember every picnic in the summer when this song came on Tina's radio, you'd be secretly singing it to yourself, humming the lyrics, because this is one of your and grandpa's favorite songs. The lyrics made me think of you a lot, especially these verses.

I thought about these lyrics because I believe it represents how, through all the dysfunctionality of life, you wanted everyone to stick together as a family. I just want to say one final, I love you, and my sisters love you. We will forever miss you grandma. Thank you for everything, and rest in peace, our beloved grandmother.
