Obituary of Lidia Crecco

Lidia (Concetta) Arlia Crecco, age 92, of Monroe, beloved wife of the late Raniero Crecco, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025 surrounded by family. Born in Calabria, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Provenzano Arlia. She was dedicated to caring for her entire family.

In addition to her husband, Raniero, she was predeceased by a brother, Palmerino Arlia, and three sisters, Rosa Porto, Emilia Porto and Michelina Pate.

Survivors include her two daughters, Maria Crecco and Joanne Clericuzio and her husband Anthony, all of Monroe, her brother-in-law, Alfredo Pate of Trumbull, two grandchildren, Anthony Raniero and Alessia, as well many nieces and nephews.   

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Jude Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Stratford.
