Obituary of Margaret A. Lenotti
Margaret A. Lenotti age 86, went on to spend "Eternity" with the Lord on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Stone Bridge Health Center of Newtown. Born in Bridgeport on December 5, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Armand and Josephine Walsh Lenotti.
During her youth, Margaret was an accomplished speed and synchronized swimmer and considered the North End Girls Club her second home. She was a member of the Central High School Class of 1957 and attended Southern CT State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree and Master's degree in physical education and health education. She taught at Hill House High School in New Haven and later her career turned to become dedicated to the Third Order Dominican Sisters, working at St. Mary Church in New Haven for over 25 years processing mail for the Infant of Prague.
After her retirement, she lived at St. Joseph Manor in Trumbull for 27 years where she attended Mass daily. She was a follower of Christ and fervently prayed the Rosary before the Blessed Sacrament and the Mercy Chaplet daily with Marilyn and Linda. Many people called upon Margaret to pray for them… Margaret had great purpose through "Prayer".
She is survived by her twin sister, Shirley Giampaolo and her husband John of Monroe, her sisters Jean Albanese and Eleanor Iassogna, both of Milford and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was also the proud Godmother of her niece, Suzanne Giampaolo Ceccolini and her nephew Joseph Lombardo. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Lombardo and Dorothy Roberts and her brother, Richard Lenotti.
We wish to thank the staff of Stone Bridge Rehabilitation Center for the "Love" and "Care" given to Margaret. We are grateful especially for "Mac" the nurse attending to Margaret.
