Obituary of Helen O. Piccirillo

Helen O. (Stockman) Piccirillo, age 96 of Stratford and Prospect passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Complete Care of Meriden. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew Piccirillo. Born in Bridgeport on May 23, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Olga (Litke) Stockman. Early in Helen’s career she had been employed by the Bead Chain Company, where she built many lasting friendships over the years. She later was employed by Tom Watt Fundraising in a managerial role with nearly 30 years of service before her retirement. She was a lifelong resident of Connecticut, and resident of Stratford for 89 years. Her family was the center of her life. A loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Some of her enjoyments included dancing, baking, sewing, and shopping; however, her greatest pleasure was found in the time she spent surrounded by family. She loved hosting events that kept everyone together. She also enjoyed road trips up and down the east coast and throughout the U.S, especially to Disney World. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra Piccirillo and her husband Ralph Anderson of Prospect, her sister-in-law, Phyllis Piccirillo of Trumbull, cousin, Ingrid Stahle of CA, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband Andrew of 66 years, she was also predeceased by her son, Thomas Piccirillo and brothers, Frederick, Albert and Edward Stockman and her sisters, Emma Stockman and Eleanor Moran.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. Friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
