Obituary of Bruce A. Anderson

Bruce A. Anderson, age 67, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Andrea Stollman Anderson, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Mineola, New York, on April 10, 1958, he was the son of the late Richard and Greta (Rich) Anderson.

Bruce cherished his sons, Matthew and Christopher, from the day they were born and devoted his life to his family. He loved traveling with his wife and boys and spending time at the beach. He took great pride in building Abbott Appliance Service & Repair, which he later ran with his son.

Friends were an important part of Bruce's life—once you were his friend, you were a friend for life. Known for his quick wit, warm smile, and ability to make others laugh, he was loving, kind, compassionate, respectful, and lit up every room he entered. A true sports fan, he especially enjoyed cheering for the Boston Red Sox and NYCFC.

In addition to his wife Andrea of 31 years, he is survived by his sons Matthew and Christopher; six siblings, Burt Anderson (Melanie), Gwen Bruno, Pam Escobar (Mario), Peg Joyner, Patricia Joyner, and Chuck Joyner; and a sister-in-law, Kathie Anderson. He also leaves behind many great friends from where he grew up in Connecticut and Long Island, as well as cherished nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Ricky Anderson.

A Celebration of life and words of remembrance will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.  Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.  To leave an online condolence, visit www.abriola.com
