Obituary of Marie Carmelle Jean

Marie Carmelle Jean, best known as Sabine, age 54 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 with her loving children by her side. Born in Jacmel, Haiti on January 23, 1971, she was a daughter of the late Micius and Mona (Etienne) Jean and was a longtime Bridgeport resident.

Survivors include her three devoted children, Shardey Ashandy Neika Martis and her husband Sylvester, Mithsi Achangela Noraah Martis and her boyfriend Jermaine and Chris Princeton Thibeaud, five loving siblings, Monette Duplan and her husband Edwige, Roosevelt Jean and his wife Lissette, Leslie Jean and his wife Dina, Marie Marlene Jean and Berthoumieux Junior Jean and his wife Ifania and eight nieces and nephews, Nayanka Duplan, Leedwin Duplan, Sebastian Augustin, Andrew Augustin, Jasmin, Laetitia Jean, Theo Jean, Kervin Jean, Ertha-Orley Jean and Aiden Augustin.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday morning, November 24, 2025 from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull followed by a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 1255 East Main Street., Bridgeport. Interment will follow the Mass in Mountain Grove Cemetery, 2675 North Avenue. Bridgeport, CT.
