Obituary of Natalie Ann Saviano

Natalie Ann Saviano, age 71, of Shelton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at Griffin Hospital in Derby, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony V. Saviano. Born in Bridgeport on December 16, 1953, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Natalie (Battista) Schlenk, Sr. Natalie was a 1971 graduate of Notre Dame High School.  After marrying her high school sweetheart while working at the old King Cole’s in Bridgeport, she would go on to work nearly two decades at the Deloitte accounting firm, where she was a cherished member of the Deloitte family bringing a tireless commitment to her work and colleagues. Natalie found great pleasure while quilting, baking, cooking, and her love of traveling with her Husband and sons. Her greatest enjoyment however was found in the time she spent surrounded by her loving family keeping traditions alive. She would say her greatest achievement was raising her two sons Evan and William. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and a loyal friend.

Survivors include her devoted sons, Evan and William Saviano of Shelton, her brothers and sisters, James Schlenk and his wife Karen Kiely of Stratford, Barbara Zewe and her husband Sam of Dayton, TX, William Schlenk, Jr and his wife Laura of Milford, Leonard Schlenk of Shelton and Susan Smith and her husband Bill of Orange, her loving nieces and nephews, Amanda Rossi, Rachel Valerio, Devon Grisby, Matthew Schlenk, Alisha LaDore, Nicole Schlenk, Erika Schlenk, Dee Anne McMahon, Dylan Smith, Nicholas Saviano, Alex Saviano, Justin Ziebell and Dylan, Hayden and Brody Seele, her special cousins whom she adored, Toni and husband Marty of Queensbury, NY, Joanne and her sons David, her Godson Daniel and Anthony Russo and her beloved grand dogs,  Kelce and Carmine, who will now feel a tremendous void because of her passing.
