Obituary of Diane M. LaBerge

Diane Scinto LaBerge, age 71 of Stratford entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Friday November 14, 2025 at her home. Born in Bridgeport on November 20, 1953, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Petitti) Scinto. Diane was the beloved wife of 40 years to the late Joseph P LaBerge.

Diane attended Notre Dame High School and graduated from St Vincent's School of Nursing in 1976. Diane was a dedicated RN for almost 50 years, devoted to patient care. Her most recent position was in Healthy First Steps at United Healthcare, but Diane enjoyed her time working on Labor ad Delivery at Park City hospital the most.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph P. and her parents John and Mary, her in laws Joseph R. and Carol (O'Brien) LaBerge, and her beloved aunt and uncle Elenor and Albino Ciotti.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her loving daughter Elizabeth M LaBerge of Ansonia, her granddaughter, the apple of her eye, Adrianna Marie, her beloved sister Antionette Gemignani and her brother-in-law Robert Gemignani of CA, her niece Tracie Gemignani of CA, her best friend Josephine Ettorre, and her treasured goddaughter, Joanne Ettorre of Shelton. Also left to miss her are her "fur grandbabies" Luna, Ruby, and Sonny, who brought her so much joy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton St., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday morning from 9:00 am – 10:00 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
