I first met Alice in the 80's when she worked for the dentist in the office building where I also worked for a physician. She was always welcoming and kind to me. Later on, she worked with my Aunt and again, Alice always friendly and smiling. Fast forward and we bought our house on Judd and Mayfair- Hank and Alice were the most welcoming, helpful and kind neighbors! Our daughter loved Hank's decorations and full sized candy bars on Halloween, the Christmas decorations that matched my husband's extravagant showing each year and the summer fireworks show!
They were talked of often when they left the neighborhood and that house will always be their house in my mind no matter who lives there. While I have never met their children, Alice always spoke lovingly of you all. She will be greatly missed by the Sikorski family. I know Hank was waiting for his love as she entered Heaven's gate. God bless all of your family as you navigate these next weeks and months especially the holidays, without her. I am certain the memories of the loving special touches she put into all of your family gatherings will live on through all of you.
Hugs to all,
Janice, Brian and Suzi Sikorski

When i first came to visit Alice and Hank it was for Thanksgiving. I rode with Kelly and Jim from Atlanta. When we arrived it was just as if I was part of the family! They were so gracious and kind! It was the beginning of a long relationship. Once I moved to CT they offered their home to me without a thought. I lived with them for a couple of years. Alice and I had a special bond, our grandchildren. She was so giving of herself to all who knew her. I feel as if I have lost a sister.! I will miss her so. Rest in peace sweet lady!

Grandma Alice was one of the sweetest, kindest souls I have ever met. During my almost 4 years with the Targowskis, she immediately welcomed me and treated me as her own daughter. I will forever cherish her kind words, her wonderful treats, and the beautiful crafts she made, like the scrapbook for my first birthday abroad. I am so glad she finally got to meet my husband Fabio earlier this year and that he, too, loved her instantly. She will be deeply missed, but I am eternally grateful to have known her and to have been able to call her "Grandma."

I met Alice through Art classes, first on Zoom, then in person. She was a talented artist, to say the least. Her kindness and gentle spirit were the true beauty she shared with those around her. She cared for those around her and always put others' interests before her own to make them feel comfortable.
She will be missed. I feel blessed to have known her, even for such a short time. God bless her, and may she rest in peace. My sincere condolences to her loving family

I met Alice through the Grief Group at the Senior Center. She made baking and cooking seem effortless. Many times she would come to the group meeting with a banana bread or pastry that she just happened to bake that morning. She was a kind and loving person that I am forever grateful that I could call her my friend.
