Obituary of Rose C. Picarazzi
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Rose Picarazzi, age 91. Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1933 to the late Anthony and Carmela Capasso. She was the beloved wife of the late Albino Mario Picarazzi for 62 years.
Leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness, Rose walked through life with a gentle strength, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with an unforgettable grace. In her lifetime she was defined by her unconditional devotion to her family and friends.
Rose leaves behind her cherished children John (Deborah) Picarazzi, Diana Picarazzi, Anthony (Kathi) Picarazzi, her adored grandchildren, Michael (Tracy) Picarazzi, Jessica (Greer) Richardson, Anthony Picarazzi, Erica (Scott) Bossone, Matthew Picarazzi, Chelsea Picarazzi (fiancée Joseph Kuchma), and her granddaughter in law Filomena Picarazzi. Great grandchildren, Ella Richardson, Ryder Richardson, Luca Picarazzi, and Jackson Bossone, and many loved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ralph (Louise) Capasso and Anthony (Mimi) Capasso, and her beloved grandson John, Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025 for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the St. Monica Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
