Obituary of Craig Cantarano
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Craig Cantarano on September 21, 2025, at the age of 67. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the people that he loved.
Born in Bridgeport, CT on November 1, 1957, he was the son of the late Nick and Catherine Cantarano and brother of the late Larry Cantarano. He is survived by his loving wife Ellen, beloved daughters Noelle and Rachel and their husbands David and Mike. He was “OB” to his three beautiful grandchildren Grant, Colette, and Jude.
Craig was a lifelong resident of Stratford, CT. He will be remembered as a cherished family man and wonderful friend to many spanning decades. He was a passionate carpenter who enriched countless lives and homes with his master craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he loved to enjoy a cigar and a cocktail on a beautiful day. You could often find him cruising around Lordship in his golf cart.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family wishes to acknowledge the overwhelming support, love, and kindness received during this difficult time.
A celebration of Craig’s life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
