Our sincere condolences to Craig’s family. Bob and I have known Craig for a very long time. Bob from Longbrook park and I from Garden school through HS. He was one of my very best friends throughout those years. He will be dearly missed.

Our condolences to the Cantarano family. We purchased their beautiful previous home in Stratford. The craftsmanship and detail put into this home is as evident today as it was the day Craig finished the house. We got to know Craig after the sale of the home and he was a kind, caring and compassionate person who loved his family with everything he had. Light up the universe, Craig.

Dear Ellen and Family, I know that I don’t need to tell you how blessed you are to have had Craig as a husband, father and grandfather to the grandkids. I became reacquainted with Craig when we were looking for a house in Lordship. We were the first people to walk into the Open House. I walked through the house and said, it was perfect! His reply was, “ Karen, if you want this house, just shake my hand and the house is yours. I will tell everyone else that comes in, that the house is sold, and no one can outbid you. I am a man of my word.” And that he was! No money was ever exchanged until the closing! We are fortunate to have had our paths crossed by Craig. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
God’s blessings. Karen and Randy Zigmont

I only had the chance to hang out with my wife’s Uncle Craig a couple of times, but I instantly understood why he was so loved. He left such a lasting impression on me, and I can only hope to be half as cool as he was. Sending love to the whole family as we remember him.

Uncle Craig, I adored you. Your calming presence and chill demeanor made everyone feel at ease. When we stayed with you last summer, you brought Frankie a fresh bakery treat every morning, it was so sweet. That Italian warmth and thoughtfulness was just who you were, always making people feel cared for and safe. I’ll treasure those memories forever. All my love to my cousins and family as we hold onto you in our hearts.

CRAIG,
You are among the greatest human beings I've known. Craig was the catcher for the Raybestos Cardinals of the Stratford Original Little League. I was a pitcher. We were 8-2 together in our last year. Craig was a WINNER, LEADER, and GREAT TEAMMATE! I will never forget that tough spot in a big game when I was having doubts, threw a bad pitch, and Craig came out from behind the plate and threw the ball back harder than I could ever pitch one, saying: THROW THE BALL! I knew he had our backs and respect...FOREVER...That quality and commitment I'm sure carried Craig through life. I can see Craig now rounding 3rd base, full speed, spikes kicking up dirt, game on the line, diving head first into home...SAFE!...Looking up, seeing God saying...WELCOME HOME!

I met Craig when he was 11 years old and at that time I was dating his brother, Larry. He was like my younger brother through the years as we shared laughs and our lives together. When we spoke last week, he told me I was the sister he never had . Such a special man who I dearly loved and will truly miss. My love to the family .
