Obituary of Orlando Morales Caraballo

Orlando Morales Caraballo, age 54 of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Michelle (Napolitano) Morales. Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico on June 29, 1971, he was a son of the late Valentin and Juanita (Caraballo) Martinez and was a longtime Shelton resident.

Orlando was a devoted father, a man who rose from humble beginnings and built a life filled with love, pride, and meaning. What he created was more than a life for himself, it was a legacy that made his family proud beyond measure. He lived for the moments that truly mattered: creating memories with the people he loved most. Whether traveling to new places or simply enjoying the comfort of home with his wife, his sons, and his grandchildren, Orlando cherished every second together. For over 20 years, he poured his heart into his work as a histotech, finding dignity and purpose in a career that reflected his strong work ethic. But beyond his profession, Orlando's greatest pride was always the family and the life he built around them. He will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, his lavish tastes, his contagious humor, and the warmth of his unforgettable bear hugs, the kind only he could give. Orlando's story is one of resilience. Born with the odds stacked against him, he chose not to be defined by hardship. Instead, he rose above it, defying negativity and carving out a beautiful life that touched everyone he met. Even those who only shared a brief moment with him carried away a lasting memory, proof of the profound impact he had on this world. Orlando's life was a testament to strength, love, and joy. And though he may no longer be with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his devoted wife Michelle of 27 years, survivors include his two loving sons, Orlando Morales (Kimberly Torres) and William Morales (Alexis Gonzalez), a sister, Maleny Hernandez, a brother, Rigoberto Morales and his two cherished grandchildren, Orlando "Booby" Morales, Jr. and Leah Morales. He is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-law, Philip and Inez Napolitano, a special aunt Linda Naplitano and his two devoted dogs, Rocky and Rex as well as many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. The funeral service and entombment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.
