Obituary of Dr. Linda R. Mastroianni

Dr. Linda (Revay) Mastroianni, age 72 of Milford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Patrick P. Mastroianni. Born in Meriden on October 14, 1952 she was the daughter of the late William and Edith (McKean) Revay. Dr. Mastroianni obtained her doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, when it was located in Farmington, and later held a long career as a cardiac anesthesiologist at Hartford Hospital before her retirement with nearly 25 years of dedicated service. She thoroughly enjoyed horseback riding and her love for horses transcended to a large collection of miniature model horses that adorned her home. She also had a flair for decorating holiday trees and was renowned for her creations of miniature toy villages that she was proud to display and for others to enjoy. She was a woman of great faith and had been an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Woodbridge, where she practiced that faith and built many friendships over the years. Her greatest enjoyment was found in the time she spent surrounded by her family. A loving and devoted wife, mother, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband Patrick of nearly 40 years, other survivors include her loving daughter, Elizabeth Mastroianni of Georgetown, MA as well as several cherished nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of The Assumption Church, 81 Center Rd., Woodbridge. Entombment will follow in the St. Catherine Mausoleum at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull. A reception for all attending will follow. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
