Obituary of Robert J. Lundequist

Robert J. “Bobby” Lundequist, age 37 of Naugatuck, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Born in Bridgeport on September 22, 1987, he was the son of Ann Marie (Snyder) Luna and Juan Luna.

Bobby was a 2005 graduate of Kolbe Cathedral High School in Bridgeport.  He was an avid reader and enjoyed hiking. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who loved him. 

In addition to his devoted mother Ann and devoted father Juan, he leaves a sister, Melissa Wawrzyniak and her husband Paul, three other siblings, Mark, Cyndi and Kristi, nieces, Lily and Audrey, a nephew, Cody, a special God mother, Debbie, a special God sister, Laurynn and her children, Aria & Averie, two God siblings, Deja and Denaja as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Rose and Joseph Gayda, Grace Lundequist, Juan & Gloria Luna and his longtime companion, Joan.

Friends may greet the family on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull with a prayer service that will take place at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
