Gordon’s life had more impact and importance than anyone can ever imagine. When I was in eighth grade I remember bringing Gordon and Glenn to the beach … your father drove us. I had never been so impressed with the delight the boys experienced that day and how compassionately they embraced the day. I remember how kind every one was and the patience that was extended to them. Being in their presence always made me wonder and question why God created some of us with “different” needs and abilities….. well over years of pondering I discovered why. They are in fact not “different” but PERFECT, Yes perfect. They are teachers, they are pure spirits of unconditional love and they set examples of faith without proof . Purpose without question and patience that becomes a passion. Gordon is God’s greatest gift and reminder to mankind to lead us to a greater understanding of who we really are—and how we all need to be stewards of each other, giving our love unconditionally to every one of God’s creatures great and small.

Dear Connie,
Thank you so much for these beautiful words of love and truth. In fact, I have always felt that Gordon and all those millions of children and adults that God created for us to understand, see, and feel what unconditional love is like and to be like to God’s children!

My deepest condolence to Linda, Forrest, Janet, Keith, Joyce and Glenn and the entire extended family. Growing up with Gordon and seeing first hand his challenges made me a more companionate person. There was such joy on his face when he made a connection even if for a fleeting moment. And his shenanigans were epic. He took special happiness from escaping out the front door and taking a nice run around the yard. I believe he is in the loving arms of his parents and our Lord. May your precious memories bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Here are pics of my brother Gordon from his youth to old age; the second picture was the last time we were together (summer 2024). I will cherish that day forever; getting to tell him that I loved him and all his family as well. My Brother was Autistic from 2 yrs old and remained essentually none verbal the remainder of his life. He passed away on July 24th peacefully in his sleep.
He taught us all that love has no price tag and the lessons learned are those we all should live up to; humility, compassion, empathy, respect, and unconditional love.
I believe in my heart that he is certainly with his Mother, Father and all other family that have gone before talking up a storm that his human form just couldn’t do.
Until we meet again, and I can hear your voice!
I love you Bro. ❤️
