Obituary of Michele Pellegrino

Michele Pellegrino, age 89, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Carmella Manzo Pellegrino, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2025. Born in Castelfranco in Miscano, Benevento, Italy, he was a son of the late Leonardo and Giovannina Riccio Pellegrino. Michele was a retired mason having worked for many area construction companies. He was a loving husband and devoted uncle. He enjoyed time with his family and shared many stories of his home country and passed on many Italian traditions to his nieces and nephews. Survivors include a brother, Antonio Pellegrino and his wife Rocchina of Italy, as well as a niece, a nephew, and a great nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Entombment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. At Michele's request there will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, CT 06611.
