Obituary of Ida Venditti Mililli

Ida Venditti Mililli, age 95 of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Bishop Wicke with her family at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Mario Mililli. Born in Ripi, Province of Frosinone, Italy on May 9, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Pasqua (Gesuale) Venditti.

In September of 1970 Ida emigrated to the United States to provide a new life for her family. She enjoyed spending time in her vegetable garden and sharing the fruits of her labor with family and friends. Her greatest joy came from caring for and spending time with her family. Her home cooked meals throughout the year will be missed but her Italian Traditions on the Holidays will live on in the hearts of all of her family

The family would like to thank all the staff at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton for all the care and compassion they provided to Ida.

Survivors include her two devoted sons, Angelo Mililli and his wife Sherri of GA, Carlo Mililli and his wife Trigona of Stratford, four loving grandchildren, Mario Mililli and his wife Savannah, Alexandra Salvatore and her husband Massimo, Angelo Mililli, Jr and fiancé Angelie Powell and Victoria Hutson and her husband Brad, seven cherished great grandchildren, Giovanni, Matteo, Nico, Mario, Christian, Rebecca and Gianna and a sister-in-law, Theresa Venditti as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers, Francesco Venditti and wife Angela, Eugenio Venditti, Giuseppe Venditti and wife Michelina, Emilio Venditti and wife Giovanna, Natale Venditti and wife Maria and Carlo Venditti.

Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, Trumbull. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
