Obituary of Joan Emily Balogh

Joan P. Balogh of Trumbull, CT passed away peacefully at Seacrest Retirement Center on June 15, 2025. She was born to Charles and Emily Peet on September 26, 1931.

Joan graduated from Stratford High School. During and after high school, she worked for People’s Bank moving from a teller to further marketing positions.  She was an avid bowler who served in various leadership roles and traveled extensively for Tournaments sponsored by WIBC.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert J. Balogh and her son Gary W. Balogh.

She is survived by her son Robert C. Balogh and his wife Allison, and four grandchildren, Ashley, Rachel, Scott Alexander and Daniel. She will greatly missed by all who knew her. 

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 12:00 pm in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.  Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.  To leave an online condolence, visit www.abriola.com.
