Obituary of Donna Mary Mucherino

Donna Mary Mucherino, age 67 of Milford, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle. Born in Bridgeport on August 29, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas A. and Helen Bleggi Mucherino.

Donna was a Pit Boss for Mohegan Sun, retiring after 25 years of dedicated service. She also worked for Unisex Hair Cutters of Fairfield for 20 years.

Donna was a free spirit and lived life to the fullest, enjoying every day. At the age of 55, she began what would be her love and passion of riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle. She traveled the open road throughout Connecticut, the East Coast, and across the U.S., accumulating over 30 thousand miles on her Harley.

Donna was a loving and dedicated sister and aunt. Family was a priority for her and she always showed her love by spoiling her nieces and nephews. Her memory will continue to live on through all of those who loved her.

Survivors include her two loving and devoted sisters, Lisanne Camputaro and Trisha Samatulski and her husband Leonard, four cherished nieces and nephews, Drew Camputaro, Jenna Hotchkiss (David), Tori Rogers (Richard), Leonard Samatulski (Lilet), her three adored great nieces and nephew, Jade Frankie, Marley Jane and Richard Nicholas, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Frank Camputaro.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
