To Sherry, Joe and family
I remember when I first met your mom. She made me feel so at home and always had that big smile that I will never forget. She so loved her family by the stories she used to tell. I am so sorry for your loss but know she will always be watching over you.

I will remember Nonnie as a woman of extraordinary faith and love for our Lord Jesus Christ. She loved as he did. I felt that love at all times when I was with her. I am simply a friend of Sherry, since 1984...but, I was loved by Nonnie, as Jesus loved...sincere and authentic, a heartfelt love that you feel deeply within your soul. She also showed tremendous love to my husband, Orlando, and to my children, Charles and Mollie. Her love transcended the limitations of the culture and its stereotypes. She was loving and accepting of me when I met her back in August 1984, in North Andover, Massachusetts as a college freshman. It never wavered since then. When I married, she accepted and loved my husband and when children came, they were loved in the same way. She nicknamed my baby son " a little peck of potatoes," as I enjoyed a boat ride with her and Sherry in 2000. My son and daughter always knew in their hearts that Nonnie loved them as her own. That is Divine love, and something very rare. I want the family to know that their mom, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend was extraordinary in her capacity to love. I truly believe that she accomplished this with her devotion to her Catholic faith and her love for the Lord Jesus Christ and Our Blessed Mother. Theologians teach us that, at our Judgment, the Lord will ask one question, "how much did you love God and others?" My faith tells me that Jackie (Nonnie) has answered that question by the way she lived. Rest in peace, dear servant of the Lord.
I love you, Nonnie.
.....May the Angels lead thee into Paradise, may the Martyrs receive thee at thy coming and take thee to the Holy City, Jerusalem. May the Choirs of the Angels receive thee and mayest thou have rest everlasting...........

My sincerest condolences to Sherry, Joe and family. Jackie worked under my supervision at St. V's, but became a friend over all these years. My biggest memory is that she never worked a holiday because family came first. May she rest in the love of God.

She always made it her business to sit me down at every bbq/picnic and ask me about my job. (Police). She had to hear the stories. I’ll never forget how happy she was when I told her that I finally retired. She was happy that I was off the streets. Such a sweet caring woman. One fond memory was when She came by my house unexpectedly (neighbors) and we sat and talked for over two hours about everything and anything over coffee.
and marble cake. lol. She will be missed dearly. She was supposed to be my first visit on Mother’s Day, as I was going to shower her with more flowers than you can imagine. Prayers to Joey and Jackie and the family. You have my support.
