Obituary of Kevin M. Schewe
Kevin M. Schewe, age 56, of Trumbull beloved husband of Stacie Gilleo Ziegler, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 25, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Danbury on January 19, 1969, he was the son of Marie Henriques and Edward Schewe.
Kevin loved NASCAR racing, the LA Rams, and cheering on his Liberty Flames. More than this, he loved spending time with his girls. Kevin would also spend hours studying his Bible as he sat with his lovely wife, Stacie. He worked hard to love each person he came in contact with and cared for them personally. He was fervently committed to his sobriety and the recovery community that he was part of, and he was dedicated to helping others find the same gift of recovery that he found in Jesus. 3 John 1:4 says, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." This was true of Kevin, who was so proud of his daughters, Rose and Jacqueline, who know and follow Jesus. Kevin loved and served his wife, Stacie. He would call her his bride and was dedicated to making her laugh every day.
In addition to his beloved wife Stacie, his mother Marie, and his father Edward, survivors include his two loving daughters, Rose Schulz and her husband Brent and Jacqueline Matici and her husband Antonio, his stepchildren, Peter Ziegler and his wife Kayla, Nancie Kennedy and her husband Mason and Emily Ziegler, a brother Wayne Woggermon, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. Kevin was very excited to be expecting his first grandchild, August Rose Schulz.
