The passing of Mariette Roy seemed to come as a surprise to Mariette’s neighbors here at Carmel Ridge. May I express my sincere condolences to the family. Mariette, despite some recent health issues, was a joyful, energetic, wonderful Faith filled friend and I enjoyed talking with her, as she shared quite a few interesting faith filled stories about her pilgrimages to many holy places. She had a beautiful God given talent of gardening and the energy to go along with it! It seemed to me that she always put God first, as I recall seeing her on most Mondays at the Holy Hour at St. Joseph Chapel just up the hill from her Condo. **This inspired me to request a Mass ASAP for her soul which the Sisters were able to schedule for MONDAY, MARCH 31 at 11:15 AM at St. Joseph Manor in Trumbull, Ct., just off route 111. If the St. Joseph chapel, (where Jesus always is in the Tabernacle), is still under maintenance, the Mass then will be celebrated one floor down from the main lobby in Lord’s Hall. Fr. Michael Flynn, I was told, is to be the celebrant. May Mariette rest in peace and may the Masses bring many Graces to her soul. Sincerely, Mariette’s Carmel Ridge Neighbor, Marylyn Vogt
