Obituary of Josephine A. Piscitelli

Josephine A. Piscitelli, age 96, of Trumbull, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Born in Bridgeport on October 28, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Ippolita DeLucia Piscitelli. A graduate of Warren Harding High School, she was a retired employee of Liberty Mutual with over 36 years of dedicated service and was a Trumbull resident since 1963. She was truly devoted and dedicated to the care and love of her family. She unconditionally put everyone's needs before her own. She was an inspiration to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her loving brother, Frank Piscitelli and his wife Irene, as well as several cherished nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers and their spouses, Vincent and Ruth Piscitelli and Angelo and Maria Piscitelli and a sister and her spouse, Rosina and Nicholas Papale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 10:00 am directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. At Josephine's request, there will be no calling hours.
