Obituary of Ursula E. Hoff

Ursula E. (Carl) Hoff, age 97, beloved wife of the late Alfred Leopold Hoff, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Bishop Wicke Health Center in Shelton with her loving family by her side. Born on July 1, 1927 in Gottingen, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Hermann and Elizabeth (Daube) Carl. She became a U.S. citizen on November 14, 1960 and had been a longtime Trumbull resident. Ursula had worked as a seamstress for many years and also worked alongside her husband at his business, Alfa Tec Manufacturing Company. She was a longtime member of the Germania Sport Club as well as the Ladies Auxiliary. Ursula enjoyed cooking, working in the yard and any time she spent surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her two loving children, Doris Heidel and her husband John of Milford and Peter Hoff and his wife Janet of Shelton, her cherished grandchildren, Brandon Hoff and his wife Harley, Peter Hoff and Julie Hoff; three adored great grandchildren, Lennox, Dylan and Charlie as well as many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by five brothers and four sisters.

The family would like to thank the Pavillion 2 Staff at Bishop Wicke for their loving care to our Mom.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in the Mountain Grove Cemetery of Easton. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
