Obituary of Armindo C. Rodrigues

Armindo C. Rodrigues, age 63, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 17, 2025 at St. Vincent's Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of 30 years to Sharon (Sears) Rodrigues. Born in Bobadela, Boticas Portugal on September 16, 1961, he was a son of the late Albino and Helena (Costa) Rodrigues and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport.

Armindo came to the United States as a boy and settled in Bridgeport with his family. He worked in the construction field and for the last 35 years he worked with F & G Construction where he was currently employed as a foreman. Family was most important to him and he cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his dog "Jeep".

Survivors include his five loving children, Robert "Bobby" Rodrigues, Armindo Rodrigues, Jr., Christopher Rodrigues (Kristen), Peter Rodrigues (Gina) and Mary Rodrigues (Ray), two brothers, Orlando Rodrigues (Marie), and Aires Rodrigues (Isabel), two sisters, Filomena Costa (Jorge) and Rosa Evans (Robert) and 12 cherished grandchildren, C J, Tyler, Dominic, Roman, Jonah, Jadey, Josie, Charlie, Kennedy, Jacob, Jace and Jackson as well as many nieces nephews. He was pre deceased by a brother, Francisco Rodrigues.

Relative and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. A prayer service will take place at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
