Obituary of Geomar Carmen Pereira

Geomar Cisneros Pereira, age 76, of Monroe, beloved wife of Lee Pereira, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 17, 1948 in Otavalo, Ecuador, she was a daughter of the late Jorge and Victoria Armas Cisneros. Geomar was a retired Nurse's Aide and spent time with her husband working at the family business, Quality Stairs Inc.

She looked forward to her weekly get together with her siblings and they would enjoy playing cards and sharing laughs. Geomar also enjoyed her many trips to Atlantic City with her husband Lee and at home could be found tending to her garden.

But above all things she was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured time spent with her family and her smile would light up the room when her grandchildren were by her side. The unconditional love she gave and strong values she taught will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed.

In addition to her beloved husband of 54 years, Lee, survivors include her three loving children, David Lee Pereira and his wife Patricia, Victoria Lee Pereira and her fiancé John DiTuri and Jason Manuel Pereira and his wife Maria, four cherished grandchildren, Mateo Pereira, Selena Pereira, Dominic Laurindo DiTuri and Penelope Pereira, six sisters, Gladys (Fayez) Bechara, Blanca Leonila Cisneros, Marcia Cisneros, Martha (Napo) Peñaherrera, Sonia (Wilson) Santiana, Monica Cisneros; two brothers, Charles (Joan) Cisneros, Guillermo Cisneros; brothers and sisters-in-law, Antonio Pereira, Ilidio Pereira (Arminda), Ramiro Pereira (Cecelia), Eduardo Pereira (Cathy) and Manuel Pereira (Mary), 39 nieces and nephews, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: Jorge Oswaldo, George Cisneros, Ligia Cisneros and Gloria Almeida.
