Obituary of James D. Carlucci Jr.

James D. Carlucci, Jr. age 42, of Trumbull passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025 at his home. Born in Stamford on October 29, 1982, he was the son of James D. Carlucci, Sr. and Margaret (Kijek) Carlucci and was a longtime resident of Trumbull.

James grew up in Stamford and was a graduate of Westhill High School. He later became a carpenter, following in his father's footsteps and joined the family business where he worked alongside his dad for many years. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union Local 326 in Yalesville, CT. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed the countless hours he spent hunting with his cherished dog Duke. Above everything, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially with his nieces and nephews. He was a loving son, brother and uncle and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

In addition to his devoted parents, he leaves three loving sisters, Kelly Magiera and her husband Robert, Carrie Longo and her husband Salvatore and Michelle Carlucci and longtime boyfriend Brennan, nine cherished nieces and nephews, Kassidy, Andrew, Vincent, Rocco, Santino, Marcello, Luciano, Adriano and Vita as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will be private. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
