Obituary of Mila Angelina Rosalina Pascarelli

Mila Angelina Rosalina Pascarelli, age 13, loving and cherished daughter and sister, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025 with her loving family by her side. Born in Derby on February 21, 2011, she was a daughter of Kenneth and Lauren Greene Pascarelli of Shelton. Mila was currently an 8th Grade honor student at Shelton Intermediate School.

Her spirit, kindness, and strength were beyond measure. Mila was an energetic person, was very compassionate and was a bright light to many. She made everyone around her smile, laugh and you couldn't help but feel her true love and give it right back. She was so loved by everyone she came in contact with and left an everlasting impression of love and generosity.

Loving known as a "Flying Squirrel", Mila was always on the go and always had an activity to attend.

Mila was a goalie on her soccer team, enjoyed swimming, had her boating license, was a very talented artist who truly enjoyed playing in the yard or park with her family and friends. She had a strong passion and love for skiing and was a member of the Sterling Ski Club. She enjoyed Walt's grilled cheese and " botatoes" while boating. Mila loved adventuring on the beach, camping and vacationing. Even at her young age, Mila enjoyed racing sail boats and participated on two racing teams, Santarella and Sagacious.

Mila always put the needs of others first and was there to help those less fortunate and in need. She was active at Calvary Evangelical Free Church and was a counselor at their summer camp.

But beyond anything, she was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. The unconditional love she shared and memories created with her family will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

In addition to her devoted parents, Kenneth and Lauren, survivors include two loving siblings, a brother, Brett Pascarelli, a sister, Tia Pascarelli, maternal grandmother, Patricia Greene, paternal grandmother, Lynn Pascarelli, her Godmother, Kathy Yolish, uncles, Richard Greene, who was also her Godfather, and Kevin Pascarelli and his wife Roberta and Keith Pascarelli and his wife Kim, four loving cousins, Kylie, Kristina, Kolby and Dominic. Mila also leaves to cherish her memory, very dear family friends, Laura and Sophia Unger, and Katie Everett, as well as her boyfriend Antonio Aleman and his mother Nina Aleman and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her grandfathers, Richard E. Greene and Jim Pascarelli.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. All funeral services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to myfriendabby.org. To leave an online condolence please visit www.abriola.com.
