Obituary of Annabel Gallo

Ann Deaton Gallo, age 90, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Gallo passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, she was a daughter of the late James and Clara Durrington Deaton. After meeting her husband Joe in Texas, in 1955, he and Ann married and started their enjoyable life together in Bridgeport. Ann had worked at Sikorsky Aircraft as an executive secretary for Igor Sikorsky and ultimately retired as the executive director for 3030 Park in Bridgeport. Joe and Ann moved to Oronoque Village over 30 years ago and she was very active in many groups and organizations in the Oronoque community. Most recently, she relocated to Brightview in Shelton and was enjoying her new friendships. Survivors include her three loving sons; Anthony (Skip) Gallo and his wife Genevieve of Branford, Todd Gallo and his wife Brigette of Stratford and Timothy Gallo and his wife Gina of Trumbull, a brother, Clois Joe Deaton, a sister, Adele Stults, her seven cherished grandchildren, Daniel, Jessica, Anthony (AJ), Scott, Brian, Ava and James, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 10 a.m. directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may greet the family on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
