I was young when I first know Frank. He may, actually, have been a Youth Minister for CYO at Ss Peter & Paul in Williamsville. So, therefore, the ceremony I attended with my mother, at Infant of Prague, must have been when he became a Deacon. His 1971 ordination was at OLV Basilica in Lackawanna, NY. (Date/fact correction assisted by one of my younger brothers, Tim Lane -THANK YOU!!)

I am very sad to learn of Frank’s passing away, and regret I’m only hearing now… Frank was a significant and important part of my life.
From my teenage years and his impact upon our family life in the early-mid 1970s… My first ever motorcycle ride was on his bike - I mildly burnt the inside my calf on the muffler getting off which scared me off of motorbikes for quite a few years! Attending with my Mom his ordination at Infant of Prague. And his calm, compassionate presence during family events & activities on N Long St.
Later, my late husband, Daniel, and I met with Frank to prepare for the blessing of our marriage. Frank officiated the ceremony at SS Peter & Paul in Williamsville, 30 September 1995. It was my great joy that he was able to perform the blessing (also attend the reception) and once again have him join the family in a celebration that, I believe, brought us all great joy.
I always think of him, and will remember him, with deep affection and peace in my heart. RIP old friend, who lived a life of kindness, generosity and compassion towards others; always.

Frank was such a great light . He welcomed me and and my family into the neighborhood 8 years ago. He was a joy to be around and always had a smile on his face. I am truly grateful to have met him . He is definitely a one of a kind type of person.

Dear Robert and Other Family Members,
How sorry I am to have heard through the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut about Frank's death. I still remember our conversation when I first met Frank at St. Paul's in Fairfield, CT. Later, there were many occasions where Robert and Frank were at Suzanne Kachmer's City Lights Gallery in Bridgeport, and later how joyful an event your marriage ceremony was. It is wonderful that you were able to have 27 years of marriage and, of course, years together before that milestone.
Since 2021, I have resided in Great Barrington, MA, in the Berkshires so I may not be at the celebration of Frank's life, but I did
want you to know that you are in my thoughts and while he is no longer with us physically, I'm certain he will always remain in your heart.

Robert, Carol and all of Frank’s family, My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved Frank. While, I’ve only known him just over a year, the love and light that he exuded was amazing and I know that he loved each and everyone of you very much.
I pray that happy memories lift you and sustain you during these difficult days. And I pray that you find comfort in the knowledge that Frank is now resting in the arms of his Lord and savior in whom he entrusted his faith.
With love,
