Arnold "Arnie" Musante, age 82, of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Bridgeport Hospital with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Judith (Bruno) Musante. Born in Bridgeport on November 18, 1940, he was a son of the late Albert and Angela (Gallucci) Musante and a was a longtime resident of Trumbull before moving to Bridgeport.
After high school, Arnie joined the United States Army to proudly serve his country. He later went on to begin his career in the grocery business and after many years of dedicated service he retired as a store manager. He spent countless hours working on cars especially his T Birds which he loved tinkering with the most. He enjoyed playing cards with friends and family and taking the occasional trip to the casino. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. He lived for his daughters and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his loving daughter, Janine Musante (Joe) and four cherished grandchildren, Cassie, Coda, Gianni and Jason as well as many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Nancy Musante and by Joseph's children, Joseph (Elizabeth), Ashlyn (Dostilio) and Matthew as well as Lila, and Pamela's son, Jimmy (Carrie). In addition to his wife Judith, he was predeceased by his loving daughter, Dina Musante, a brother, Kenneth Musante and his companion, Pamela.
Friends may greet the family on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow the mass in Mountain Grove Cemetery.
