Dear Jim, Fran and Jimmy, Lin was one of the first people my manager introduced me to when I started at GE in 1981. He thought she was a great employee role model. Everyone adored her. But once I retired in 2015, I got to know Linda even more at one-on-one lunches. A better human being could not be found. She loved her husband and spoke about her best family constantly. Her big brown eyes would look up and laugh and had the best sense of humor. (She kept a book of all the BLONDE JOKES I and others sent her!). I prayed and believed in a miracle for her but maybe somehow this is it. All I know is that the world and I have lost a real light and I miss her presence already. My deepest sympathy, Joanne Giba

Jim, Fran, Jimmy & family ~ My heartfelt condolences on Linda's passing. I know how close you were & know your lovely memories will bring you peace. I knew Linda (we loved calling her Stella - from Streetcar...) for over 50 years. We worked at GE together, caroused, danced, lunched, laughed, cried & traveled for most of those decades. I knew her well & was honored to call her a friend. If you knew her, you know she was one of the most beautiful, kind, caring souls on the planet. The world is a better place because she was here. Rest in Peace my dear friend - I have missed you with my move to Florida & will miss you still, knowing you're not a phone call away. Stop by if you want to chat... Love you Namaste' ~

I have known Linda since 1966 and there is not enough room for me to tell you about all our memories together. We shared tears and we shared lots of laughs and wonderful times together. Our friendship was very special and she was like a second sister to me. I think of her every day and will continue to until we meet again.
