We just learned of Brian's passing and we are sorry to hear of it. I grew up with Brian in Lordship and became fast friends with him in high school. It just so happened that Brian was the first person Joan saw after giving birth to our son in Bridgeport Hospital, and she still remembers how comforted she felt for seeing a familiar and friendly face at that time. We had been considering several names for our son and settled on Bryan after experiencing Brian's care in the hospital. May he rest in peace.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and knowing Brian "Mule" Mitchell back in our college days at the University of Tampa. Needless to say, I was taken back when our mutual friend, Perry Lane, notified me of Brian's passing. What a loss for all who knew this wonderful, funny, great guy! May he rest in peace for eternity and I'm sure all of us who knew him will cross paths with him as we crossover and enter the afterlife. I look forward to that day as he was unforgettable! God bless Mule!

I am heartfully sorry to learn about Brian's passing. I was introduced to Brian in high school thru Bill and Maryann. I have wonderful memories of the time we spent together. May your memories of him replace your sadness. He was a good man. May he rest in peace. Sandy (O'Ravitz) Guerin

Brian was one of my closest friends and fraternity brothers when we attended the Univerdity of Tampa—Our friendship remained strong throughout the years even though we had not seen each other for sometime—-we had spoken to each other a couple of times in the past couple of months and I am so glad that we kept in touch——a true friend who was a true blessing
