Obituary of Rita Marie Gaudiano

Rita Keane Gaudiano, of Bridgeport and formerly of Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Frank L. Gaudiano, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Jewish Senior Services. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Patrick J. Keane Sr. and Beatrice Mahoney Keane. She graduated from Saint John's Commercial School, and went on to work as a secretary for Dictaphone and for Sacred Heart University in the Library and Nursing Department and was also a buyer at CHCP and Anthem Blue Cross.

Along with her husband, they were avid New York Jets fans and were long time season ticket holders. Rita loved her family and her friends. She also loved traveling with her husband, especially to Italy. They also enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent's Swim Across the Sound, the Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn Camp and CT Burns Foundation.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, Kathy and Mike Tatnall, Patty and George Lombardi, Gary Maruca, Joe and Debbie McClure, Sharon McClure, Jeff McClure and Jason and Marie Mitchell, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Keane and Jean and Ike Iacovone as well as many grandnieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Patrick J. Keane.

Funeral services take place on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Arthur C. Luf Children's Burn Camp, 601 Boston Post Road, Milford, CT 06460 or a charity of one's choice.
