Obituary of Carmella Marie Bubernak

Carmella (Connie) Marie Daddona Bubernak, age 94, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Sam Bubernak, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 2, 2017in New Milford. Born in Bridgeport, April 29, 1923, she was a daughter of the late John Daddona and Marie Fasuli Daddona. Carmella was retired lab technician having worked for St. Vincent's Medical Center. A resident of Trumbull for over 45 years, she was a longtime parishioner of Christ the King Church. Her respect and kindness for all who entered her life was treasured. Connie's gentle, loving and nurturing ways will forever be remembered and missed by all of those she touched. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband Sam, she was pre-deceased by a daughter Barbara Merena and a granddaughter Danielle Shea. Survivors include a loving daughter, Doreen Shea and her husband John of New Milford, son-in-law Daniel Merena of Bridgeport, six cherished grandchildren, Samantha, Lisa, Johnna, Kyle, Valeria and Dennis, two adored great grandchildren, a sister, Marie Montanaro of Trumbull, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice.
