Obituary of Marilyn Lincoln

Marilyn Baluha Lincoln, age 74, a lifetime resident of Bridgeport, CT passed away on May 3, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a sudden illness. Marilyn was a legal assistant for her late cousin, Attorney Richard P. Bepko, for over 50 years, where she made many friends in the legal community, and for several of whom she continued to provide her expertise and assistance long past her retirement. She was gifted with words, and had a particular passion for beating many at the game of Scrabble.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Sherri Lincoln McPartland of Shelton, Sheila Lincoln Papps and son-in-law Chris Papps of Easton, Suzanne Lincoln Boyce of Norwalk, and her "#4 daughter", Robin Savoie Zacks of Trumbull, her brother, Robert Baluha and sister-in-law Sue of Huntington, sister-in-law Judy Baluha of Norwalk, her ex-husband and life-long dear friend, Russell Lincoln of New Hampshire, her 6 grandchildren, Tim McPartland, Matt McPartland, Meghan McPartland, Rylie McPartland, Alexander Boyce and Aiden Boyce, as well as 3 "granddoggers" and 3 grandcats. She is also survived by her "soul sisters" Camille Savoie, Kathy Tesch, and Linda Rabbitt, as well as countless friends and relatives who consider her their "sister", "other mother" or best friend. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Cyril and Mary Baluha and her cherished brother, Richard Baluha.

Marilyn will be most remembered and missed for her boundless kindness and generosity, for making everyone she knows feel like family, for her undying loyalty to her family and friends, for making close and adoring friends of all ages, young and old, right up until her final days. Her passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of many.

Friends may greet the family on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 1-5 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A Memorial Mass celebrating her life will take place on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. directly in St. Andrew Church, 435 Anton Street, Bridgeport. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, 269 Hanover Street #3, Hanover, MA 02339.
