Obituary of Craig J. Bousquet

Craig J. Bousquet, age 66, of Stratford, beloved husband of Rosa Franzese Bousquet, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Bridgeport Hospital with his wife by his side. Born in Bridgeport on March 14, 1950, he was a son of the late Lionel and Linnea Carlson Bousquet. A hard working man, Craig was a self-employed carpenter. He was a very generous and caring person who was always there to lend a hand to someone in need. But most of all he was a devoted husband. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his beloved wife of 36 years, Rosa, survivors include his brother, Warren Bousquet and his wife Felicia of Westchester, OH, two sisters, Gail Riordan and her husband Tom of Quincy MA, and Lynn Swanson and her husband Stanley of Milford, sisters and brothers-in-law, Maria Mirafiore, Ida Franzese and Romilda Franzese and her husband Raffaele, Anna (Nina) Goessinger and her husband Jim, John Franzese and his wife Mary Beth, Nella Cioppa, and Coleen and Rosa Franzese; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers-in-law, Louie and Franco Franzese. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment with military honors will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
