Obituary of Ann Biondi

Ann Ruth Biondi, age 87, of Shelton and formerly of Bridgeport and Fairfield, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 10, 2016 with her daughters by her side. Ann was born in Hamden on September 18, 1929 to the late Walter and Anna Kuhn and was married to the late Joseph Biondi for 52 years. She worked at the Fairfield Store for over 20 years in the children's department until her retirement. She spent her retirement years involved with St. Margaret's Shrine as a member of the Marian Guild and volunteer at their annual St. Anthony's Feast. She truly enjoyed her time with her St. Margaret's family. Born with unfailing inner strength, Ann was deeply religious whose faith carried her through her illness. Ann is survived by her precious, loving (her words!) children: J. Daniel (Lucille) Biondi of Wilton, Rita (Tom) Ciarmella of Monroe, Regina (Paul) Gulash of Shelton, and JoAnn (Bob) Frawley of Shelton. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Louis (Rachel) Ciarmella, Abbie (Jeff) Martino, Danielle (Ryan) Davis, Laura and LeeAnn Gulash, and Jordan Biondi. In addition, she is survived by three great grandsons, Luke and Evan Martino and Joseph Davis, a sister, Gladys Bohnwagner, and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Jude's Church, 707 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Swim Across the Sound, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606.
