Obituary of Margaret M. Rebeta

Margaret M. Rebeta, age 66, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 30, 1949, she was a daughter of the late James G. and Alice Clara Belock Rebeta. Margaret had been employed by Stop & Shop where she worked as a clerk with 25 years of dedicated service. A faithful parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Fairfield, she had also enjoyed the time she spent with friends and colleagues from The Kennedy Center. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her brothers, Reverend James L. Rebeta, C.S.C., of White Plains, NY and Robert M. Rebeta and his wife Cheryl of New Jersey, her niece and nephews, Stephanie Rebeta Myint and her husband Ricky, Carl James Rebeta and Bryson T. Rebeta. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Theresa M. Rebeta. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will be held privately in St. Mary Putnam Cemetery, Greenwich. Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home where a vigil service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to The Kennedy Center, 2440 Reservoir Ave., Trumbull, CT 06611.
