Obituary of Norma E. Robinson

Norma Elizabeth Hulford Robinson, age 82, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Robinson, of Monroe, went home to her lord and savior on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford after a courageous battle with esophagus cancer and COPD. Born in Bridgeport, CT on February 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late John “Jack” Hulford and Margaret Mikula Hulford. Norma served as a Dictaphone operator, cafeteria worker and housewife. She loved to play piano, guitar, singing; enjoyed ceramics, knitting, crochet, and shopping. She loved to read the Gospel and would always take the opportunity to spread the word of Jesus. Norma had a beautiful and terrific personality. She lit up the room whenever she was around. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family Norma was recently pre-deceased by her beloved husband Larry of 62 years, and brother, Jackie Hulford. Survivors include four loving children, Thomas Robinson and wife Maria of Seymour, Donna Poulin and husband Mark of Shelton, Larry Robinson and wife Sabrina of Shelton, John Robinson of Charlottesville, VA as well as seven cherished grandchildren, Michelle Langer and husband Joe, Jonathan and William Robinson, Kelly, Ben and Brian Robinson and Nicole Hemenway. The family wishes to thank the staff of CT Hospice in Branford for their wonderful and heartfelt service. All funeral services will be private.
