Obituary of Louise M. Gyorke

Louise M. Gyorke, age 88, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on December 27, 1927 she was a daughter of the late Kalman and Ana Mary Gyorke. Affectionately known to many as "Auntie Louise", she was employed by the B. Lipnick Supply Company in Bridgeport for 70 years and was currently the general manager. She took great pride in going to work and loved her "Lipnick Family" especially Jackie and Sharron. Louise was a fun loving and caring person, she was always there to help and listen. She enjoyed the simple things in life and loved her daily glass of wine. Auntie Louise will be greatly missed by all. Survivors include her loving and devoted family, a niece, Sandra Stevens, a nephew Ronald Wardlow and his wife of Barbara all of Bridgeport, great nephews, Kalman Stevens, Miles George Stevens IV (aka Butch), Miles George Stevens V, great great nieces and nephews, Jenny Stevens, Miles George Stevens VI, Matthew Stevens and Alexandria Stevens, Godchildren, Billy Kulas, Mark Ennis, and Jerry Danielczuk, her "adopted granddaughter", Jean, as well as numerous friends. Louise was predeceased her brother, Kalman D. Gyorke. Funeral services will take place on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 12 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
