Obituary of Olive R. Lello

Olive Robillard Lello, age 89, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Michael Lello Sr., passed away peacefully on Friday, May 6, 2016. Olive was a retired bank officer with Mechanics & Farmer's Savings Bank. Born in Central Falls, RI, she was a daughter of the late Ernest & Eleanor Whittaker Robillard and was a longtime resident of Monroe before relocating to Shelton. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her devoted son, Michael and his wife Diana of Shelton, two cherished grandchildren, Michael and Samantha, her sister Gail Haile (James) of Nebraska, brother Ernest Robillard (Jeanette) of RI, sister-in-law Diana Moore of Winchester CT and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and several Godchildren. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by an infant daughter, Susan and her sisters Audrey Fobes and Eileen Jutras, her brother Danny Robillard, sister-in-law Aileen Rooney, and brother-in-law Fred Lello. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull, CT.
