Obituary of Joseph V. Gallucci

Joseph V. Gallucci, age 55, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Cynthia Gallucci, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on August 22, 1959, he was the son of Eugene and Barbara (Grassi) Gallucci of Fairfield. Mr. Gallucci was currently a service director for Porsche and employed in the automotive industry for over 30 years. Joe was an excellent cook, an avid cyclist and a race car driver. His great sense of humor and quick-wittedness will be missed by all who knew him. In addition to his wife of 20 years, Cynthia, and his parents, loved ones include a son, Jack Gallucci and a daughter, Alli Gallucci, both of Trumbull, a sister, Evonne Klein and her husband Randall of Darien, nephews, Jason, Michael and Gregory Klein, an aunt, Connie Gallucci of Bridgeport, mother and father-in-law, Mary and Robert Cantow of Norwalk, brothers-in-law, Bob and Joyce Cantow of MA and their children, Kristen and Jacqueline and Don and Debbie Cantow of NJ and their children Caroline and Michael. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Monday, August 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund to benefit the children through the funeral director.
