Obituary of Anthony G. Barone

Anthony G. Barone, age 83, of Milford and formerly of Stratford, beloved husband of the late Audrey Greeley Barone, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Greenwich on July 26, 1931, he was a son of the late Anthony and Sylvia Dota Barone. A U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was a mason for over 40 years, retiring as a superintendent. Mr. Barone was an active member of the Bricklayers Union, a member of the Stratford Men's Club and was active in Stratford PAL Little League. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Survivors include three sons, Cliff Barone and his wife Mary Anne of Shelton, Anthony H. Barone and his wife Anne of Westlake, TX and Chris Barone and his wife Nancy of Shelton, twelve grandchildren, Michael, John, Cliff Jr., David, Daniel, Kristen, Tony, Kelly, Stephen and his wife Jen, Andrew and his wife Emily, Kenneth and James, two great grandchildren, Tyson and Cole, two sisters, Angelina Galucci of Boca Raton, FL and Josephine Guastella of Monroe, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
