Obituary of Carlo Palmer

Carlo Palmer, age 77, of Bridgeport, loving husband of Anne Marie Alascia Palmer, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Norwalk on September 28, 1937, he was a son of the late Peter Sr. and Jenny Carusone Palmer. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 46 years, Anne Marie, his two loving devoted, children, Lisa Cisero and her husband James and his children, Victoria, Danielle and Jaimee of Bridgeport and Carl P. Palmer of Derby, brothers, Peter Palmer Jr., and his wife Rosalind, Anthony Palmer and his wife Susan, a sister, Jean Wanat, sister-in-law, Sue Palmer all of Westport, brother-in-law, Vincent Alascia of Bridgeport, as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He also leaves his canine companion, Emme. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Felix Palmer and brother-in-law John Wanat. Carl was truly one of a kind. He might not remember your name but could tell you the car you drove 20 years ago. He loved watching his reruns (especially Walker Texas Ranger), cars, Harleys, peanut butter, singing to his music, scratch offs and collecting his cans. He put black primer on every vehicle he owned and always needed money for gas. He worshipped his wife who he fought with everyday and was the proudest dad you could ever meet. Elvis was his king and the only color he wore was black. He would talk to anyone and knew someone everywhere he went. He was very loud and funny with his own special handwriting and language. He was a unique man who had a huge heart. He cherished his family and friends and made an impression on all who knew him. He will truly never be forgotten. Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 11:00 meeting directly in St. John's Episcopal Church, 786 Fairfield Ave, Bridgeport. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 1 – 5 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, those desiring can make memorial contributions to the family through the funeral home.
