Obituary of Ercole I. Paoletti

Ercole (Babe) Paoletti, age 73, of Shelton, beloved husband of Margaret Peterson Paoletti, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. Born in Stratford, on December 22, 1940, he was a son of the late Giacinto and Grace Caseria Paoletti. A self-employed drywall contractor for nearly 60 years; He was a life member of the Pootatuck Yacht Club and a member of the Stratford Boat Owners Association (SBOA). He enjoyed fishing, hunting, smoking a good cigar and spending time in Jupiter, Florida with his family and friends. But above all he was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He treasured the time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Babe will truly be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife of 53 years, Peg, survivors include, three loving daughters, Lisa Pastore and her husband John of Oxford, Jean Larsen and her husband Randy of Shelton and Kristine DeMarco of Shelton, eight cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and Anthony Pastore, Sydney and Eric Larsen and Todd, John, Frankie and Sara DeMarco; two sisters, Dina Belta of Westport and Rosemarie Altieri of Wilton, a sister-in-law, Donna Paoletti of Shelton, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Geno Paoletti and John Paoletti, Sr.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
