Obituary of Elizabeth J. Durant

Elizabeth J. Kush Durant, of Milford, a retired employee of General Electric, died Monday, May 10, 2004 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Zofia Rak Kush. Mrs. Durant was a Bridgeport resident for over 55 years before moving to Milford. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Durant. Survivors include a daughter, Rosanne Durant Silvestro and her husband, Joseph of Milford, a sister, Joan Doolan of Spring Lake, NJ and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, May 14, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Chapel Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 5-9 p.m.
