Obituary of Virginia P. Condon

Virginia Pinto Condon, age 76, of Trumbull, the chief clerk for the Trumbull Tax Collectors Office, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Devon on May 1, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Julio and Estelle Pinto. She was a member of the Legion of Mary, the Council of Catholic Women, the St. Theresa Rosary Confraternity, a Girl Scout Leader of Housatonic Council, Trumbull Cub Scout Leader, a CCD teacher at St. Theresa and a member of the Trumbull Democratic Women.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 53 years, Lawrence M. Condon, Sr., four children, Virginia T. DiSapio and her husband, Charles of Greenwich, Linda M. Shaw and her husband, George of Shelton, Lawrence M. Condon, Jr. and his wife, Judith of Monroe and Christopher M. Condon and his wife, Marie Harriman of Shelton, a sister, Florence P. Seltenrich of Easton, seven grandchildren, Daniel L., Rebecca E. and Kristen M. Shaw of Shelton, Matthew and Benjamin DiSapio of Greenwich and Dylan and Richard Condon of Monroe, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Elizabeth A. Mollo and a brother, Michael E. Pinto. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
