Obituary of Alfredo Pullo

Alfredo Pullo Sr., age 76, of Trumbull, a retired laborer for the Seaboard Waterproof Company, died on Friday, July 29, 2005 at his residence with his family by his side. Born in Ripi, Province of Frosinone, Italy, he was a son of the late Pietro and Giusseppa Mariani Pullo, and had been a Trumbull resident over 34 years. Mr. Pullo enjoyed playing Bocce and spending time in his garden.

He was pre-deceased by an infant son, Daniel Pullo, two brothers, Pasquale and Vittorio Pullo, and a sister, Lugietta Sementilli.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 52 years, Jenny (Annetta) Zangrilli Pullo, three devoted children, a daughter, Josephine Ettorre and her husband John of Shelton, two sons, Daniel Pullo II of Monroe and Alfredo Pullo Jr. and his wife Ida of Trumbull, a brother, Quirino Pullo of Ripi, Italy, his brother in law, Michael Zangrilli of Trumbull, two cherished grandchildren, JoAnne and Kristina, several nieces and nephews and his pet dog Nella. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Mountain Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
